Dear colleague, The International Secretariat of Amnesty International is currently undertaking a global change process and for the first time is creating a senior role at their global headquarters to grow their income and membership base. They are looking for a dynamic leader for the role of Senior Director, Fundraising & Growth who shares their passion for human rights and comes with a proven track record of significantly increasing income and the supporter base in a comparable organisation at the global level.   Located in London, UK and reporting to the Secretary General, the Senior Director, Fundraising & Growth will sit on the Senior Leadership Team directing strategy and influencing the direction of growth for the movement. He/she will also lead a team of Directors who are renowned within their fields of growth, and who themselves manage a large number of international experts. It is therefore vital that the ideal candidate, as a spokesperson, ambassador, and leader of the organization have a substantial amount of personal and professional experience in both the Global North and South.   The International Secretariat is keen to receive a truly diverse range of candidates, and as such we are calling for applications from experts from around the world with a track record of significantly increasing growth in income and membership in global organizations.   Strong candidates will have experience in leading a similar agenda, encompassing all fundraising avenues and attention to supporter engagement, in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. They will be able to leverage their own contacts; their singular expertise in strategic supporter engagement and growth planning and delivery, targeted fundraising interventions; as well as their cutting edge knowledge of high volume individual donor attraction and retention.   Added to these areas of expertise the right candidate will have the right mix of behavioural qualities to successfully manage and lead this diverse range of experts credibly.
